Saz-1500D at .5 VS AQ2200 at 1

Whats your opinion? What would you choose?

Would the Saz be ok in a High Rise box at .5 with stock alt and 110ah of reserve?

go with the saz 1500 i run mine daily at .5ohms on stock alt with no problems

you shouldnt compare an amplifier at an impedance under what its rated at IMO. that may vary from vehicle to vehicle depending on the current and install. even though both amps should be able to do 0.5 .

I think if you go over on SSA, you'll see the results of the SAZ-1500 at different ohms... I'll try to find a link for you.

I don't think it's worth running on .5 IMO judging by those results.

I honestly am stunned that you are comparing a 1500watt amp to a 2200 watt amp. Just because its got a great price doesnt mean its not good. Take your mom for example:applause:

The reason I am comparing the 2 amps is because I have a chance to trade in my sundown SAE-1200 plus 125 strait to jacob for a saz-1500

Or I can sell my sundown and buy an AQ.

Either way, it's going to be around the same price.

Hey dont twist my words... I never once said it wasnt a good amp. It is a very good amp. I love sundown, i actually am between getting a 3500D from them or AQ. Im just saying that the amps you are comparing dont even compare. The quality is prolly the same. Just youll get more power from the AQ. And youll get great Customer Service either way as well.
