can't go wrong with any of the setups. I actually think for daily streetbeat the t1's will be better off that amount of power

i think the L7s will get loudest

the L7's will prolly be the loudest but type R's have a proven reliabilty in the long run. I have 2 of the very first 12" type R's (Japan made) from the mid-late 90's that are running off 1100 watts rms each and they still pound clean and very loud. (2 memphis st1600d amps @ 1 ohm)

The type r's will handle the power & get louder. L7's are loud but are not as reliable as the r's. What are you gonna be doing with this setup? Daily street beating, SQL, SPL? Also what kind of amp are your gonna be pushing these with?

just put in a L7 12 into my buddys car. its loud as shit for a 12!

Sorry I have a neighbor who has 2 12" L7's in a ported enclosure built to spec, I also have an enclosure for 2 12" r's built to spec. We tested it out both in his car & my car. He had a Brutus amp & I used my sundown, the r's got way hella louder in both vehicles, not to mention the L7's started stinking really bad (like they were about to blow). My buddy then decided to sell the L7's & got with the r's.

Enough said.

I think the Rs get louder over a broader frequency range but the l7s can probably get louder then the Rs at their tuning frequency. I have heard both and the type r seems louder because it has more punch and does it while retaining sq
