There's no need for 1k to the OA subs in my opinion. I ran mine fore a few days on half its rms and it still got moving fairly well and got loud for ~300 watts. 750 is plenty to get them going.

Infinity Ref 1262w or 1260w. They are inexpensive ($75 retail or about $38 if you know someone that works at Best Buy), will take 500wrms and get pretty loud and low for a budget sub. Irpirate did a clamshell of 16 of the Ref 12s in a Landcruiser or something and was doing around 152 sealed at the dash, and was above 150 down to around 30hz with 2 Sundown 3500 IIRC. It was his first big build, dude did it in the middle of winter in Iowa or somthing, it was below freezing when he did it lol. Look it up.

$134 a pair on ebay, thats im running, they sound great.

Run em with a audiopipe 3000 at 2 ohm perfect. Take it easy on them they take while to break in

So spend hundreds of dollars in materials to build and give up your back seat and you plan to buy 75$ subs ? Good luck with that. You'll wind up getting crushed by guys with 1 or 2 good subs in a trunk.

If you're going for all out cheap, go with massive cone area, like 6 15's or 12 12's or similar.

Oh thought you were asking if they could take it haha... Well 750 each should get them plenty loud they're only rated @ 600 and have decently high sensitivity.

Sensitivity can be almost completely ignored for subwoofers. Its measured at 1khz.

Don't do a wall unless you're willing to spend over a grand on subs, if you're intent on spending 400 dollars, get four dcon 10's, stick them on 1500w, and the when you have money, upgrade to some better 10's and a bigger amp. Doing a wall right now is financially stupid.

He's fixated on doing a wall, when he has neither the money nor the equipment to justify it. I tried telling him to stuff as many small drivers as he can in his trunk, and over time, just upgrade amps and drivers, it would be easier in the long run, until he HAS money to do a proper wall.
