exactly what i am saying if you get a new sub and are able to finally bridge the amp at 2 ohms for 3k its gonna go into protect alot faster or blow if its already doing it on just one channel.

I think we have a mis understanding. heres how the speaker terminals are laid out

+- +-

I have my sub at 1 ohm and in to 1 set of the +-.

What he is trying to say is that, you are only using one channel(1500w) and already your amp is going into protect. And when you get new woofers and wire to 2ohms bridged/use both channels(3000w) it will just happen quicker.

i thought the audiopoop amps were a mono and the +'s and -'s were tied together like all other mono amps..

no im pretty sure they are a two channel amp. think they are rated at 1500x2 at 1 ohm or 3000x1 at 2ohm

The silver AP 3000D is a two chan... Its basically 2 1500Ds in one case.

That pretty much says it all... For most it's the other way around and end up like the OP.

sell that pos amp, get a decent amp, and find someone locally that can rewind your alt..

how many watts do you think you are getting right now then if you only have it on one channel at 1 ohm you are getting 1500 watts!! look at the specs on the amp

Im so confused. If I plug my wires into +(this one) - + -(this one) it will go into protect. If I plug it in to +(this)-(this) + - it works

now i see your saying the way you have it wired now it doesnt go into protect at all, but if you go + (wire) - + -(wire) it will go into protect?

fix ur electrial it's NOT the amp. i bet you have a bad battery, are you using a relay to isolate the 2 different kinda batterys?
