DD3512 vs RE SX12

Which one of these is better for output and sound qualityfrom 1200w?

The RE recommmends 2.0cft compare with DD's 2.5 for a ported box. Is the RE's recommendation to be trusted? I have read about the RE XXX's box recommndation being far too small.

the dds do sound good in there box rec thay will get down i dont know that much about re so i dont know how thay sound or there box rec what series of dds was u thinking of going with on that 1200w? is that going to just be daily are going to blup them

i have a 15" SX in a 4 cube box and it POUNDS im only running 760rms to, so with 1200rms that thing will be nasty!;0

re sx are awesome but will not handle anywhere near the power of 3512 dd woofers are way stronger built

3512 > SX, IMO. Overall loudness there is no comparison, the 3512 can take 3x the power & sounds better IMO.

i run a 3518, dd owns, make sure to get the right coils as dd/aq have imp rise like crazy, only really matters if your competing... off 1200w the 2512 would work well also

DD it is then. Will likely get the 3512 rather than 2512 as it doesn't cost much more. The amp will put out 1200w at 12v, and 1500w at 14v. I do know that the 3512 will take more, but is there really any point in giving it much more than its rated power, which is 1200w?
