350A ANL fuse

So... my amp calls for 350a. I'm using 4/0 welding cable.. do I use what the amp calls for or do I need to use a bigger size fuse cause of the cable? Please help

cable size should not determine the amount of draw the amp is going to have. I would use the largest wire you could, as many runs as you can, and use the appropriate sized fuse.

Thank you. I'm only doing one run of 4/0 welding cable. The ampere 3800.1 calls for a 350a so that should be good. Cause I'm ordering a whole bunch from a page that requires a minimum of $25 purchase that makes it 8 350a fuses //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I'd get what the manf recommends.

I always use a 300 fuse up front lol. But in your case id do a 350. You will be fine
