3 sub setup

if not done right, three sealed my have less output then two properly done woofers...
I assume you mean two ported woofers...

right now, my 2 shivas are ported. when i went from sealed to ported, i didn't notice a hell of alot of difference in output. i only thing I noticed was low end output increased a tad, but that was it. this MAY have been from using the wrong port area/enclosure size. i built the boxes myself and designed them myself.

for reference purposes, the old sealed boxes were 1.56cuft per sub.

new boxes: read my sig.

he meant in general, odds are if you don't have room to fit it correctly (it appears you don't), it's probably not worth the expense of adding an extra. Honestly, I can't see the need for much more than what you already have, it's more than enough for a car of that size, IMO. I know blending with your fronstage isn't much of a concern to you, but still, how much more bass do you need? If anything wait until you get your new amp, a bit more power might be just what your looking for.

i suppose i forgot to add that i would be putting a bx1000d on the 3 subs.

I suppose this wouldnt be for blending with my front stage at all, just for pure mayhem. my two right now, with the passenger door open, is enough most of the time. I belive 3 subs would be something to experience.
