3/4/5-channel for PG RSD's + small sub

Sup guys,

I'm planning an ultra-budget system for my 06 Civic coupe. For reasons of budget/stealth/weight/trunk space (about in that order, I'd say //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif), I'm pretty set on running the 6.5" PG RSD's in the factory locations up front, and a Pioneer TS-SW841d in the factory 8" "sub" hole in the rear deck (I also plan on deadening the doors and deck).

I'd like to get one amp to run everything. Everyone has been saying how the RSD's love power, and to send them 150w, but I'm sure I'll be running a way milder sub setup than these guys--the Pioneer is rated at 120w/("500 max") and I'm running it IB.

My question is, should I still try to send 150w to each front channel? How much do you think I can send to this one small shallow sub? I was thinking of something like the Kicker ZX700.5 w/ the fronts bridged, or the JL a6450. But I'm wondering if the sub will just be drowned out, and this is silly? If I didn't need to send so much power up front, I could fit a "higher end" amp into my budget (I was thinking of 3/4 channel Xtants or the cheaper Zapcos--they both have differential inputs which is a big plus for me interfacing w/ OEM HU).

Hope that's not too long-winded for how simple my needs are: 3-channels, preferably w/ balanced inputs. I'm a hot chick, btw.

get a kicker 500.3 their about 150 to 200 off of ebay run the 2 fronts and 2 rear fills of the 2 channel part for the amp at 2ohms then run the 8 inch off the sub channel or run a jl 5005 good luck with your choice

I have the 700.5 pushing my RSd's. Front channels bridged and currently no sub. I am getting about 190x2 @ 4ohms + 525x1 @ 2ohms. Pretty solid amp IMO.

Most birth around 950rms. Check the thread over on DIYMA... his ZX700.5 birthed 1080rms I believe.
yea i saw that as well. wasn't aware they made that much power. still not enough power for me though on the sub channel. my sub has a single 4 ohm coil. very nice amp if those power requirements suit ya.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yea, definitely. I still think I may go with the 650.4 and 750.1. Although, I must say I have been sub less for a while now and have contemplated the idea of an 08ZX700.5. They are **** cheap through my accomodations. I still need to get a new car first. That actually seems like it might be happening pretty soon.

Thanks for the input guys. Sounds like the 700.5 is the solid choice. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I don't think the 550.3 is even any cheaper on eBay. Sorry for lying about being a hot chick.

haha, that 850.4 is pretty tempting //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I was also thinking about doing separate amps for my mids and tweets - kinda the staggered affect you have but in two chassis, but a much bigger pain in the *** with 3 amps.
