Sup guys,
I'm planning an ultra-budget system for my 06 Civic coupe. For reasons of budget/stealth/weight/trunk space (about in that order, I'd say //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif), I'm pretty set on running the 6.5" PG RSD's in the factory locations up front, and a Pioneer TS-SW841d in the factory 8" "sub" hole in the rear deck (I also plan on deadening the doors and deck).
I'd like to get one amp to run everything. Everyone has been saying how the RSD's love power, and to send them 150w, but I'm sure I'll be running a way milder sub setup than these guys--the Pioneer is rated at 120w/("500 max") and I'm running it IB.
My question is, should I still try to send 150w to each front channel? How much do you think I can send to this one small shallow sub? I was thinking of something like the Kicker ZX700.5 w/ the fronts bridged, or the JL a6450. But I'm wondering if the sub will just be drowned out, and this is silly? If I didn't need to send so much power up front, I could fit a "higher end" amp into my budget (I was thinking of 3/4 channel Xtants or the cheaper Zapcos--they both have differential inputs which is a big plus for me interfacing w/ OEM HU).
Hope that's not too long-winded for how simple my needs are: 3-channels, preferably w/ balanced inputs. I'm a hot chick, btw.
