How 2 hook up head unit speakers to mono and 4 channel amplifiers

So I finally bought a head unit for my car and was wondering if I'm running 4 channel amplifier with all the replacement speakers I've already installed and are wired directly to the amp or will I still need to hand wire the speakers to on the back of the new head unit or is running RCAs from from head unit to amp??

you will not run speaker wires from the HU to the speakers.

Run RCAs to the amp -> amp to speakers.

Run the RCAs away from (on opposite side of the car if you can) the power and remote going to the amp to avoid potential interference.

Ideally, if you have 2 sets of speakers and a sub...you will have 3 sets of RCAs coming from the HU. (Front/Rear/Sub) if you don't....then let us know what you have and we (or I) will set you up.

You’re from New Mexico? Mexico is nearby. Do they have a lot of car shows for car audio there? Popular on the west coast. Subwoofer was invented some where in Southern California or Mexico. Delco radios really are from Mexico. They’re really big on this.
