I'm getting 2 kicker 12" L7's, im putting them in a vented box and powering em with a bx1500d some body said if i got the 2 ohm i wouldnt be able to wire them into 1 ohm i was wondering if this was true or not cause i dont know very much about wiring

I was the one who said you wouldn't be able to wire them at 1 ohm and it is 100% true. I am runnning two Kicker L7's dual 4 ohm voice coils to a Crossfire VR1000D mono amp at 1 ohm. I have mine wired in parallel. If you get the 2 ohm dvc's, you'll only be able to wire them at 2 ohms, .5 ohm, or 8 ohms. None of those are what you want with your Brutus. You want that 1 ohm shit. Buy the 4 ohm dvc's you will be blowin up that trunk in no time. Just so you don't feel too nervous about this, go to this link: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp

Scroll down until you see the parallel and series calculators. All you have to do is plug in the impedence (ohms) of your speakers, hit the equal sign, and it will tell you the final impedence. Remember, each box is for each voice coil, so if you are going to be running two dual voice coil subs, that is four coils at either 2 or 4 ohms. Try both, you'll see the result.
