I'm finally getting back into building a system after many years. I figure I'll document what I do.
Here's my truck
I initially wanted just a sub & amp. Then eventually, upgrade the fronts at a later date. So, I built this amp rack using acrylic and mounted it behind the seat to drive a Kicker down firing 12" loaded enclosure. I ran 1/0 OFC from the battery, and my truck has 240 amp alternator from the factory. I installed it 3/5/2023
It actually sounded great, but then I decided not to wait on getting the fronts upgraded. So, I decided I'll move this to my other car and get a new setup for the truck. This is what I'm using for the new setup:
Custom fit F-150 Ten87 Design amp rack - 1/2" hdpe.
AudioControl DQ-61 DSP
Rockford Fosgate Punch P400x4 Punch amp (for the front & rear)
Rockford Fosgate Power T1000-1bdcp sub amp
Infinity REF-6530cx (component fronts)
Infinity REF-6532ex (coaxial rears)
Kicker L7TDF 12-inch down firing sub
Mini ANL fuse block
Relay for remote trigger
Hopefully, I'll get a chance to install it this weekend.
