Look into a GloweVoltage Series 1, 2, or 3 before you do an alt upgrade. A good size AGM under the hood and a GloweVoltage series 1 in parallel power my 4500 watt system all day long without a hitch.The series 1 will support up to 8 K audio systems on a stock alt.
And they are finally back in stock!
If you do decide to upgrade the Alt, these guys are an excellent source. Fill out the email sheet questionnaire, they will email you a replay on what is available specifically for your car. Great pricing, great customer service and super knowledgeable.

Frankly, if you look into how he states their performance, it's more to do with real world expectations, not based on the maximum theoretical that your system may draw based on total wattage possibilities which it likely never will see in real world use.
I've run my 4500 watt system and the whole car (6 week test for battery delete option) on my Glowe series 1, not one issue whatsoever.
There is a reason they sell out of their product regular. Their QC is next to none, hand selected cells, no duds, small operation and a fantastic reputation.
In my opinion, and that of many loyal patrons, there isn't a better ready-to-go LifePo4 option available currently

Singer alternators. Honda/Acuras have really aggressive voltage regulators and he was at least when I inquired the only major aftermarket guy that had a bypass for it.
Mechman/DC Alternators had good products/reputation but bypassing the ELD is important with that high of wattage.
