2010 Mercury Mariner

Got everything installed flawlessly, played around with my gains and set everything to what I believe is the perfect combo, my mids and highs play over my sub at full tilt so I can bump and hear the actually lyrics as well!! Overall the install was a pain in the *** my panels wouldnt go back into place with the 0 gauge wiring so I had to stuff it under the carpet. Then the doors speaker cutout was to small for a my 6.5s and I had to dremel out a larger hole. Only thing ford made easy was giving me another opening in the firewall to run my 0 gauge through. Anyway got everything done, and I see no dimming at all so I'm happy and I've impressed a lot of people With the clean look. Next up get this box carpeted!!

The best part about this HU is I ran my iPod cable into the glove box and threw my old *** iPod nano in there, it stays charged and out of site, I can control everything from the HU and search through playlists. Really loving the graphic EQ but I need to fine tune the system and play with the staging. But for now I'm happy! I'll get a good video of the flex soon!!

So a little side conversation, I have 2 12" Zcons in a Camaro, I was thinking of taking the 18 out of my mariner and buliding a box using the design SSA gave me for the 12s and putting it in the mariner. Anyone think it'll actually be any louder? I'd keep running the same amo and all for now until I choose to upgrade.
