actually with some research I found out several models of Hyundais use different model Kenwoods from the factory with RCA's....

In the new mustangs the subwoofers are in the doors as well as a 6x8 or 5x7. Only the subs are amped the speakers do not have a amp on them. You can do the line out to the rear speakers or if you have the radio out you can use either the speaker wire or factory sub wires. What ever is the most convenient.

Thanks for all the input.. the rear speaker wires are simple to get to so I will use those until he decides to get a different head unit.
