Hell yea. Beautiful ride!

I would know.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

MOAR PICS
It's filthy right now, man. It's been pissing rain for days, and when it's not raining it's 90+ degrees outside. This ride has been sitting in the weather for over a week, but it'll get the full detail treatment once this build is finished. He's supposed to buy wheels in the near future too.

This vehicle is the biggest PITA I've ever worked on. Every single aspect of this build has been ridiculous...

Hey at least the battery is in the trunk! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yeah, the batt in the trunk is a plus. That's how I'm getting by with only 10' of 1/0 awg. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It's dark out now, but I'll get more pics of the vehicle tomorrow. It's bone stock, so it's not like it's exciting. Should be much nicer once he picks up these wheels.

This thing has it's share of problems, but nothing major. Little clips and doo-dads from the interior have fallen apart, and his fog lights keep failing.

I'm toying around with some ideas regarding the placement of the equipment for this build (amp rack layout).

What do you guys think of this?

You think that would look alright with the amps flush mounted?

That's exactly what it is, and my friend likes it. It's a knukonceptz model that has the black chrome look.

Like I've said, it's not my ride. Things would be WAY different if I was doing this build for myself.

I've also thought of removing the bottoms of the amps and mounting them upside down with some plexi covers. I just don't know yet...

Got a hell of a lot of work finished today, and decided to do a couple of things a little differently.

Remember my ugly baffles? They're not so ugly anymore. After test fitting the door panels, I noticed that the Dynamat was showing. This simply won't do. I've put WAY too much time into this for something that ugly, so all of the speaker pods/baffles got covered in black carpet. The doors of this vehicle are SOLID. 4layers of dynamat xtreme will do that.

Wiring the doors was a pain, and I wasn't able to go through the factory boots. So, I went through the sides of the boots, wrapped the wires in electrical tape, covered them with looming and used a few zip ties to secure things. I'd much rather go through the boot, but I simply couldn't get it done. What I finally did is the next best thing in my opinion.

I'm officially out of wire, so I guess I'll be taking it easy until the UPS guy brings more stuff from knukonceptz. I was in the heat for 10 hours today, so I'm exhausted. Lots of pictures will be uploaded tomorrow...

Here's a pic of the freshly covered pod/baffle.

Notice the needle. I sew all of the seams when I do carpeting.

Please disregard the tattoo. It's a bad decision from when I was into the horrorpunk scene as a teenager.
