I am about to buy 2 ALPINE SWR-1042D 10" I think im gonna go with the 4-ohm because the 2-ohm cost the same. I plan on running them off a 1800 watt KENWOOD KAC-9104D (KAC9104D) Class-D MONO, that pushes RMS Power Output @ 4 Ohms : 500 Watts x 1-Channel...RMS Power Output @ 2 Ohms : 900 Watts x 1 Channel . Do you guys think i got enuf power going to these subs?

ALSO DO YOU GUYS THINK THERE IS A HUGE DIFFRENCE IN THE TYPE-R 10" AND THE 12"S I AM LOOKIN FOR THE MOST BASS BUT I ALREADY HAVE BOX'S FOR 10" SUBS SO THAT WHY I WAS LEANIN TOWARDS THE 10"S

1.)get 12's.

2.)have someone build you a ported box

3.)Get around a 1500 rms amp.

4.)Then you can be loud.

or...buy my 10'' Fi Bl and send 900 watts to it at 2 ohms, build yourself a ported box, and be decently loud for cheaper.
