2 Sub questions for different applications J/L and MMATS

Hello I am a newbie here and have a couple of sub questions.

1) I have a J/L 12W3v3 coming tomorrow to finish my first build. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they run one of these subs in a trapezoid truck box? I didnt look at the mounting depth and noticed its a bit larger than the sub that was previously in there and that was tight. Is there anyone running a 12W3v3 in a truck box??Like this?

2) I have a MMATS D300HC and would like to go with 1 15 inch Sub. I am not in to SPL or anything I was really wanting a RE XXX but I need to be at a 2 ohm final load with this amp as its not modified to go lower. Can someone help me out and give me some other choices for a nice single sub for this amp. It says in the article I found about it it puts out 1748 @ 2 ohms. I would like something similar in price as well if possible.
