10 Inch Kicker CVXs, any good?

Im thinking of doing 3 Kicker 10" CVXs in a sealed box on a 2000 watt amp, either Rockford Fosgate t2000 or a hifonics brutes amp, are these good subs, i was thinkin of doing a sealed enclosure first then go ported if i didnt like it, i have always gone ported, is sealed good, im wanting to be loud. it will go in a reg cab chevy silverado so not much room for a big box, thanks

also i was debating on the round cvx or the square l7 10" what would be a better choice?

Id go with something else personally. Whats your budget. You could do HDC3's possibly or sdc2.5's if your budget is low.

If you are required to go sealed. Id go with SE's or something along those lines. But i really wouldnt recommend sealed.

if your gonna go with the cvx's id go ported.. they just sound better that way, ive got 2 12 cvx subs and had them in both, heard 10s in both ported and sealed and they were a lot louder and sounded smoother in ported

Go ported if you want your shit loud and tune at 30-35 hz

well i was probally going to go ported i was just thinking of buying a triple pre fab truck box, but its a sealed one, seperate chambers for each and i was thinking of just porting them with a aero port per chamber, so i wouldnt have to mess with building a box but i just may. what would be better between the square and the round? i was thinkin of running 2 10s like RE SX 10s there ratted at 1000 rms each on a 2000 watt amp, but i started thinking it would be cool to have 3 10s and i thought of kicker, i have 2 kicker l7 12s now but i dont think they will fit in a reg cab chevy so i wanted 10s.

doesnt matter what you get, well brand just i really wouldnt go square IMO they dont sound great at all i dont think, no matter the brand/box/amp you have with them just i dont think they sound good but to each their own

well im wantin to go loud so i can hear it outside of the truck, like from the front and far way, i have always had subs that sound loud on the inside of the vehicle but never out side, so i want to tune it to get more loud then low.

why do you want it to be heard on the outside?? unless you plan on using it as the main music at any party or whatever lol

thats gay IMO.. you should want it loud (very understandable) but wtf why would you want it to be loud far away? Want some attention or what?

I want my system to be loud but would be nice if I could completely keep it inside the vehicle.

well i have had 3 other systems and it seems like i never could get loud outside the vehicle it was always loud in the inside but yea i would like to be heard
