I have an Crunch pzi 30001.d and an hifonics as12sq. First, the terminals on the amp are placed as (negative-negative-positive-positive). I don't believe the amp is bridgeable. How should I know if I'm running to the correct terminals? Sub 2 ohm dvcis wired at 1 ohm.

Also, I get little power and no excursion unless I turn the gain to about 2:30 o clock, the amps bass knob to 10db, and the factory head unit bass just about all the way up in my 300c. If I give it more gain it hits hard buti find it odd that half of the gain knob almost does nothing.

I know it isn't the most powerful amp but it shouldn't be that bad.

It is a monoblock amp. By definition you cannot bridge a monoblock. The minus terminals are connected together internally - and the positive terminals are connected together internally. They are there to help you parallel dual subs if you want to wire both subs back to the amp.

Set your gains properly with a DMM. What volt RCA pre-outs does your head unit have?
