2 MJ-18's, 9 cubes net in trunk build

x2 As long as you dont plan on poppin them out and changing them, not sure if the resin would eat up the foam though. Just somethin to keep in mind.
True, didnt really think of either of those...but if they're going to remain there, this should work. Also, if the resin eats away at the foam, you could tape over it first and then apply resin/mat. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

do you guys get a sealant called sika flex in your country. it comes in a tube like silicon sealant and its the same stuff the use to bond car panels with. I've tried it on mdf and it works very well

Expanding foam might work but I'd be a little scared about using it that close to the woofers...the stuff is messy as hell
I wouldnt count on it to completely seal off those holes. If you do use the expanding foam, I'd shave it flush with the panel and cover it with a few layers of fiberglass/mat to be sure.

Agreed, never hurts to double up and make sure things are good

Yea, I taped a garbage bag of the subs when I was gluing, I'd do the same for that

I'm thinking glass and expanding foam, but I dont want to wait for glass to get to me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif who sells it locally? I've never seen it at homedepot or anything

Check an auto zone or go searchin in the phonebook for autobody/paint places

Yes down here in Florida at my old work we used sikaflex to seal our metal panels when testing water pressure in these giant air conditioner basins called Munters.

Rashaddd, try finding some of the SikaFlex sealant like Perfectionist said, it's thick and goopy, very durable and will hold it air tight.

Glass would be best. They have it at home depot and murrays, any boat parts store or anything like that.

Just get a small thing of resin and pack of mat.

any automotive parts store or even wal-mart may have it. I think this is the best solution, as I dont think you'll be able to fill that big of a void with liquid nails and caulk or any other sealent.
