This is purely speculative, even if I do it, it won't be high priority - but I've got a 2 cube (total - subs will reduce that) box in my vehicle right now, and it fits so beautifully that I'm going to stick with it. However, the front face is 37" wide, and 12/16 inches tall (12 at the far outside edges, sloping up for 5-1/2" on each side, to 16 inches in the center, for a width of 26"), and I could readily swap out the face to mount multiple or single 15's (one or 2), 12's (1, 2, or *POSSIBLY* 3), or 10's (1,2, or 3). That's not considering isobaric-ing. Currently, I'm running a single Kicker XPL (from 2001) 15, which sounds fine, but I'm thinking I could get a noticeable SPL increase by changing to increase cone space. Note: currently, I'm running a kenwood 7201, which is running bridged at 460 watts, and due to installation concerns (symmetricity & such), I'm not planning on changing that - so I don't need to change to a bunch of power-hungry monsters with super-rigid suspension or anything, just want to see if anyone had any recommendations to a configuration that would increase SPL the most...? And most importantly, without changing wattage, or box volume, would it be worth the bother?
