2.25 ft^3 is all I can get in the back of my truck and still have room for amps. Here is the options I am considering.

1 JL 12W6v1 ported(has a shallow mounting depth) slot ported

2 Diamond Audio 10" D6's slot ported.

2 JL 10W3's dont care what version slot ported.

Boston G1 or G3 either 10's or 1 12"

With the amount of box volume what should I do?

The box will look similar to this.....http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350149666668&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123

i say a pair of 10" fi ssd's.. not ahuge fan of the jl-audio price tag.. unless u can get a good deal on them, i would suggest stay away
Thanks I will look into them. I would like to have a box size that I can change out subs every so often and play with new ones.

I can get 10W3v3's new from a JL dealer for $105. I already have the 12W6v1's. Diamond D6' are bass azz but can they get low in the 2.25 ft^3 is the question?

how much powa?
I have 2 Audio Art 100HC's one for each sub is needed. So 1200rms at 14v 1ohm. Or I have a nice AA 200.2RXT that is 700rms at 2ohm. Or I have 2 AA 50HC's that are 600rms at 14v and 1ohm. Or I have a AA 400.2 that is near 1000rms at 14v 4ohm and 0.05%THD(this would be the best SQL).

Im not looking to do 140dbs but I want impact and clean bass.
