A pair of BM 12's ported usually pull low 140's in most vehicles, and Marcos's testing only further confirms it. And would I put a pair of BM's up against a pair of Alpha's in power handling? Nope, only because the BM's were designed to operate optimally off of lower power levels (which is why I mentioned four BM's isobaric ported because they're so affordable right now). Would I put the BM's up against them in SQ? Oh yes.

i have a pair of the v1 alpha 12s... 300+ship and you could grab recones later and get the new soft parts/coil and get another amp one per woofer and then you would easily put up mid 140s and sound great...

on the topic of REs, only the RE and the SRs are main in china, the SE on up are hand built in america. anyways, the eclipse 8200 would be nice, as would the FI Q. boston G5, diamond D6.

I"m kinda getting the DD 1508 boner for some reason, feel like running four 1508's on around 1600w rms...

What do you think about five 1508's on a Cadence Daytona Reference 2500??

Could also do three tens or two 12's...

Kinda want two 3512's on the same amp

i have a older gen SI mag, the one after the claw basket. i have it running off 1kw daily in a ported box and it takes it like a champ. the best sounding sub i have ever heard and still gets surprisingly loud. stays tight and punchy at low volume and beats the hell outta my car when i turn it up.
