A vehicle has to be 30 years old here to qualify for classic plates.. I got them on my 1978 Monte Carlo soon as I could and plan to on my 94 Chevy truck when it is eligible.. Then no more 90.00+ tabs every year.

What's the $90 for?

I'd have to find the paper to know all the fees, but here in Washington you pay the same for tabs for 1994 Chevy as you would 2020 Crew cab..
