here are some early pics of my truck which has been sitting for over a year now untouched...

everything is double if not triple layers....the floor is 2 layers od raamat,2 layers of ensolite, 2 layers of raamat, 2 layers of ensolite, 1 layer of raamat...

and yes...using good damping material does make a difference....just like anything else...

yeah it can get very expensive if you want to use the good stuff and do your whole car etc
