Peel N seal was about $13 a roll at lowes after my friends discount. I bought 3 of them, and I have a full roll left for the rear. I used about 1 roll per door.

And yes I have came a long way since then. I have read sooo much information that I would have never came across if I didnt join this great forum.

ur gonna power cdt's off the headunit???
why?
No no... I have a kicker 650.4 amp that im going to power them with, along with my CDT CL61'as in the front... I just wanted to hook them up for the first time to test them out on HU power, because I bought them on the forum and had not tested them yet. Turns out they are blown....LAME

Looks great!

It's nothing new to hear about people using Peel N' Seal, but I've never considered it before. Can anyone chime in here and list the pros and cons of doing so?

Thanks.

Okay I finished SOME of the back(the back is huge with the trunk and all) and here are the pics, I decided to just cover the whole top where the speakers go into the baffles, but in the trunk for now im going to just cover the holes... and then add deadening later. Im still not done... I have about 3/4ths a roll left,(this shit does cover alot!)... Ill finish later on today

Pros: Cheap. Can be bought at Lowes.

Cons: Asphalt smell, Falls off after heated in the sun especially if you don't heat it before applying it, Leaves a gooey mess when it melts, Not as flexible as real deadner.

I wouldn't do it to a car I was going to keep. It will last for a while depending on the climate. I have a black car 1 inside door is done with P-N-S and the rest of the car is done in RAAMatt. Let's just say I had to replace the tint on the P-N-S side after a hot summer. A few pieces fell off the top and left big black streaks of tar on the inside of the window. The Raamatt is still holding strong.

Well in that case I'm going to say phuk that. Don't want any funny smells or my tint getting screwed up. I'll stick with my original plan for Raammat or SS deadening.

Yeah do it right the first time. I really noticed the difference when I was pulling the PnS off. It was rather easy to take off, just pull. Try pulling some real deadner off after its been on for 6 months. It's not very easy.

Let's see 3 rolls of PnS $13 each = Roughly $401/2 roll of RAAmatt= $50

I did about the same size doors and trunk with 1 layer and still have 1/2 roll or more.
