18" sub to run with a RF T15001?

I just can't pick out a speaker to go with. The t1500 puts out a little over 1900 rms, and I want an 18" daily spl driver. I've been leaning more towards DC's stuff, but I can't decide if I want a lvl 4 or a lvl 4 xl, because I know they way underrate their subs. Which would like that power more? I just don't have much experience with DC, though I hear nothing but great things.

If you have any other suggestions, or you happen to have an 18" with the respective power handling for sale, let me know!

XL is basically a baby lvl 5, it just has a smaller motor so it's obviously going to handle more power than the lvl 4. My XL is laughing at 1500 right now and that's the RMS so you'll be completely okay with 1900.

And ive seen a lv 4 take an AQ2200 like a champ...till the slowed songs burned it up..

And op, your amp is not 100% so your not going to get all 1900 rms out of it.

As long as your sending a clean, non clipped signal to a lv 4, you should be alright. But if you dont want to chance it then go with the xl

I've never personally heard any ssa subs.. but they have to be ground pounders also.. If I wasn't having spl build me a 15" I would be going to ssa/sa/incriminator

BTL 18'' !!! and when that amp just doesnt cut it anymore, the more power, the louder it gets. and they get low and sound awesome

The tuning on my box will be 32hz with an L port, low enough I'm hoping. And yeah, I'll probably go with the xl
