Question for those who know OZ audio products

I recently picked up a 10" matrix svc 4ohm sub from a diyma member

However, according to this post and what I have been informed, these speakers have different specs than the older 250L or 300L according to this post and a former Oz audio zealot I know:

OZ Audio Matrix 12" subwoofers - DIYMA.com

And I am very familiar with the L series of superman logos and this is a way more substantial driver. They were called Matrix SQ I believe. I cant find congruent ts specs anywhere..

Anyone remember these and can help with specs? Im planning to use this as a home audio sub and would like to model properly.

Nice looking sub, but I don't know a thing about them. The basket looks similar to the ID eD stuff, but with different cooling close to the motor via the mesh and fins. Either way, I'd bet it sounds great, knowing OZ's rep.

I have a couple of those BNIB down at the warehouse...if you don't find anything I'll open one up and see if there is a spec sheet inside....

That would be a huge help. I believe they intended these for smaller box use than the L series.

Yeah, these were not the elite. For a bit, they tried to come back and made the vector, the matrix sq, matrix elite and the matrix power subwoofers and released their matrix comp sets with the triangular crossover. This was that era.

I ran them for 2 weeks and then my car was stolen...but they sounded nearly the same as the id max..

So what do you think? .5 cuft or 1 cuft? I do have a 1.7 cuft tuned to 26 enclosure that housed a Dayton hf 10 in my ht. Just want to know to be sure.

Really want to use this sub somehow

For those curious how it turned out:

1.6cuft tuned to 26.5hz lighty stuffed. Dual precision ports. Dayton 240 plate

Finished in black flat textured formica

According to my phone rta Im +/- 3 db to 25 hz. A little port noise below there so the if filter is set at 24 hz.

Came out good and sounds great
