yep and keep in mind the 15 will need a bigger box.

why would the 15 get more spl cuz of the cone area cuz the type r is 750 watts vs 1000 rms does the cone area make that big of difference

yea cone area can make a diff but if ur looking for spl id try something other than alpine. Dont get me wron alpine makes good products, but if you are looking for spl id try something like kicker l7 or something
