+12V Ignition Wire

Hey guys,

I have an OT question. I am installing a CB into my car and was wondering if I could tap off the ignition wire that runs to my HU. Will that wire provide enough power for both or do I need to run the CB directly to the fuse box (which I don't want to do unless I have to).

CB takes less power than the HU. If the fuse is 10 amps or more you should be cool.
