12s or 15s

I have a 96 cadillac Eldorado I know I can put 2 15s in the trunk wit a custom box I was wondering is it worth it will they peform up to par wit the air space or will I be better gettin 2 12s In a custom box or possibly 3 12s any suggestions would be helpful

Probaly better with 12's but would need to know rough measurements of box to determine cubic feet.when you get that it will be very easy to decide

I don't know much much about making boxes or anything I was just gonna go to a shop to have them make one but I can tell you the set up I wanna go wit is 2 american bass xfls or 2 soundqubed hds300 12 or 15s in ethier one but tjats what I'm tryna figure out lol

I'm thinking more on the sq side and idk I'm new to this car audio stuff and I listen to hiphop and rap Music so what ever is best for that lol

If you just want a nice blend of music then 2 12's will do you fine. Just look around for sq subs.

Also if your new you do mean sound quality and not soundqubed haha

I ment soundqubed when I was talking about which sub brand I wanted but when he asked me spl or sq(sound quality) I was sayin sound quality but I do want them to bang tho like I wanna be heard Down the blockBut I don't want it to be noise and you can understand it

Your gonna need to push atleast 1500+ watts for that and can easily be done with 1 sub as i do it now, but im all for spl for daily not competing.

Look into 2 hdc3 12's or even just one 15.

I looked at them before I loved what I seen from but 300 for 1 sub is a little steep for me right now that's why I was lookin at xfls or hds3 I've been stuck between the 2 for a few days now any thoughts on those 2

I know the xfls get loud even tho its rms rating is low.

As far as the hds never heard none, but if you get a correctly made and tuned box you should have no issue getting what you want..

Your main goal is BIGGEST box you can make and fit for the subs.

Just try and stick with the recommended ported size mentioned for the subs.
