Vids do not prove anything just because u can make you sub move doesnt mean it is loud i can make mine move and bottom it out do you think that it is hitting a 150 #s say it all not Vids

A 1512 was louder than 1 type r installed by same person, same car, same power, and same box.

So in my friend's case installation wasn't a problem.

Point blank we are talking sub vs. subs and a single 9500 anything is louder than 2 type r's,i was at a Usaci comp sunday,know how many alpine subs i saw vs. DD? Not 1 Alpine, And to the OP ....sorry but..............

this logic makes no sense. I can get 2 type r's louder of 500 watts than i can 1 off 1,500. You are thinking that power = everything, and it doesn't work that way.

Go buy yourself a DD9512.

Build a nice box for it.

Feed it 2k and then come back here and say it's not louder than your current setup with 2 type r's.

I'm not saying alpine sucks but I would NEVER pay more than 75 for a type r.

It's a good budget sub.

i wish i knew how loud my system was. If somebody can do a 150 with a single 15 type r, then i should be doing that in my car right now considering i have a 500 watt front stage on 4 speakers, and 2 12's.

I don't have a clue how loud anything is though, so i couldn't even guess how loud mine is.

LOL. I THINK the person that did a 150 burped it and was powering it off a zx2500. Which can do more than double what your hifonics does.
