12" Type R Front Mount Diameter...am i right?

Please correct me if i am wrong, the 12" mounting diameter for the hole should be around 10.9" right? then creating the hole put it as a radius to 5.45" right?

your correct

some 12's require bigger holes..like my se12's need a 11.125 opening

and yours need a smaller opening

but your on the right track

so the hole size for a 12" type r is 10.9"? i am about to do that right now but i dont have any specs or the sub yet so i dont know how big to make it

the opening is 10.9 inches or 275mm.

you can always download the manual off the alpine website.

If you look to the right of the small box, it says download owners manual. Click on that and it gives you all of the info you need.
