The guy has obviously read too many MTX brouchures which state that the only formula to compare subwoofers by is Sd x Xmax. If an 8" driver can't produce low frequencies, then all the females out there buying Bose home theater systems with subwoofers using 8" acustimass modules aren't getting any bass.

Pfft! You need three times the xmax of a 16W7 to produce lows with those.. And they only have holes for four mounting screws! You CANNOT hit the lows with only 4 mounting holes //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif..

Well, lets not get all bent out of shape.. Step one = Buy a DVC 1-ohm sub (one hole of course). Step two = wire the coils in parallel. BAMM You've been saved.

wrong. you need 2 subs with one hole each, but you only screw one in. The other compensates
