$1000 to build system

Hi fellas, newbie here that needs some info on a new system im trying to put together with about $1000 to spend. What im trying to put together is a good system but the whole block dont need to hear me coming. A headunit that plays mp3, ipod, the more eq settings the better, always liked the OEL displays. Only need 1 good 12inch subwoofer but im having trouble understanding all the 2ohm and 4ohm lingo*yes ive been searching but still lost with those terms*. Here is a list of parts im thinking about purchasing.

Headunit - Pioneer P7900BT($230) or the Pioneer P880PRS($300)

*not sure is the P880 support ipods and if it has RCA outputs for subwoofers*

Subwoofer - 1 Kicker Solo Baric 08S12L7 with factory Kicker enclosure($280)

*I have no knowledge with amps at all, just saw this on ebay and thought it didnt look too bad*

Ive searched around and those are the items which I like but with the amp, I just put it up there cause it doesnt look that bad. So guys, can you give me some thoughts about my little setup. Like if the Pioneer 880PRS have a RCA output and ipod ready connector and if i need to buy the CD-i200 ipod adapter. Sub and amp 2ohm or 4ohm setup and is a 2 channel amp is good enough? For 1k w/ alot of new stuff, I came up with...

Pioneer 880 - $300

Kicker zx200.2 - $80

Alpine Type S 6.5" coax's - $70

Kicker zx1000.1 - $250

SSA Icon 12" - $250

That leaves you w/ $50 for wire etc.
