10" sub HELP

I have a 2003 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab and have very little room for a sub. I have a JL W1 10" in a sealed enclosure that has only .56 cu ft..I really want to go with a W3v3 10" but I will not be able to get the cu. ft. of air space. If I build it out of 1/2" I will bump the cu. ft to .66 wich is what I need. I have read that I do not want to build it out of 1/2". Is there any other subs that are shallow mount or do not need the air space that will perform as well as the JL W1? I was looking at the Pioneer TS-SW2541D. Is there anyone who knows what exactly I can get in my Dakota?? I am running a JL 250/1 mono-block. Thank You!!!!

running 1/2 is "ok" if you are running low power to a small sub...theres a big blast of low profile subs this year, i dont have the time to look now for ya but just do a search here for shallow subs

I run 2 JL 10w1v2 behind the rear seat in my chevy crew cab. I have just 5 in of clearance. I want to fit the w6,s back there but cant unless I move the rear seat forward. Its too much of a pain in the ***. There are tons of shallow mount subs out there now, but I asked the same ? a month ago here and got nothing. Im not shure they will sound all that great anyways. Good luck.
