SI Mag or Fi BL

I have a decision to make. Should i get an SI Mag or an FI BL. I can get a 12" mag for $250 and i would be buying the BL straight from Fi and i could do a 12" or a 15". So what are your opinions from people who have dealt with both. I know the BL is quite new but what do you guys think. Im not totally worried about sound quality. I want sound quality but output is more important to me than sq. I have an ed nine.1 so both would be powered well. I know its a vs thread, but i would just like to know.

If you want more output go with a BTL not a BL

Don't have the power for the BTL. I would if i had money, but i'm young and don't have enough money to upgrade electrical. And in the first post i stated i had a nine.1 for power.

Is this going in a grand am or the suv in your avatar? If you have the room...the 15 will obviously get louder than either of the 12s. Also is the mag the new version or old?

Yea its goin in my grand am. Its a 2000 grand am so the trunks are bigger than the older ones. My friend has a 2004 cavalier with a 15" avalanche in there and my trunks bigger than his.

a 15" BL will be louder than a 12" mag, so thats probably more what you are looking for. but i would still get the mag.

Why would you get the mag? Just wondering. I will prolly end up getting the mag because it is 250 and the BL 12" is 259 without options and the 15" is 279 without options. If i happened to go with the BL should i get any options on it with the power i have? If i did i would either get the flatwind or cooling.

i have never heard the BLs, but I loved my mag. it's an awesome sub. it got plenty loud for me, but i'm sure that a 15" BL would get louder.

I have read the reviews. I just wanted peoples opinions before i go out and drop close to 300 dollars. I think i'm gonna end up doing the mag because i've wanted a mag for a while and its cheaper then the other 2 but not exactly sure what i'm goin to do.

And whats this dynaudio?

K, Let me share my input, I've heard both, 12" mag sealed on 600w, on 1000w, and ported on 2000w.

And I own a 15" BL being run off my sundown.

IMO - The Mag sounds better, I don't have any TL numbers on my BL yet, the mag put out a 146.x I believe on 2kw(IA 20.1) in ChevyAudio's truck.

It's a toss up IMO, I personally believe the mag sounds better, and for a 12, shit pounds hard.

Now, my BL is HELLA loud as well, but I guess it's more of a preference kinda thing. SI or FI, Take your pick, either way you can't go wrong, trust me.

btw - Mag rms = 900 BL - starts off at 1000, but I'm giving mine ~1600 and it's fine.
