10" IB sub in wife's convertible

So I just finished this up.

It is basic as it is just adding a sub to a factory system but fairly complicated as the car is a convertible.

Equipment is the following

Factory head unit (that is what she wants)

Soundstream Bass Restorer

Audiopipe 1,500

Alpine 10" Type-R

I tied into the low level signal going to the factory amp.

I am not too impressed with the Soundstream unit, if I could do it over I would not buy it. I bought it as I thought the EQ on it would be something that would help the small IB driver. However, the tuning it offers I could have just done with the amp.

Anyway the inside of the car looks completely stock, which is what she wanted. The only thing you can see is I mounted the Soundstream controller on the center console.

I have to say it has a good sound to it, with the bass down low it sounds like a very high end factory system and with the bass turned up it sounds pretty darn good. She listens to 'dance music' which has a weird bass to me.
