1 or 2 Type R's

ok well im not lookin to blow my windows out or anything..hah..this is my first system and im tryin to understand the powering as for as amps go. So i need to k now do i wannt 600 watts @ 2 ohms or 1 ohm...Im confused on the ohm thing..whats teh difference

no forget the dual channel amps, if you're getting 2 of the dual 4 type Rs you will need a mono amp that will do 1200-1400 watts RMS at 1 ohm. make sure it's a 1 ohm stable amp. If you are getting 2 of the dual 2 type Rs you need an amp that will do 1200-1400 watts RMS at 2 ohms. If you are just getting one dual 4 get an amp that will do 600-700 RMS at 2 ohms, and the dual 2 you need 600-700 RMS at 1 ohm.

that one is fine but you would be better off getting a d class monoblock like this one it will also put less strain on your electrical as opposed to that 2 channel...http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-HIFONICS-BXI1606D-1600-WATT-RMS-MONO-CAR-STEREO-AMP_W0QQitemZ270056100030QQihZ017QQcategoryZ18797QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
