1 expensive sub, or 2 not so expensive

Hi,

Im new in this forum.

And I have a question, its posible me to buy new car audio equiment soon. I have about a $600 budget for subs and I want to know, what is better a $600 sub or 2 $300 sub.

Also i´d like to hear recomendations for subs...(best if the subs are 12")

$600/both, $300/each will get you one hell of a sub(s).

Start reading around here and getting input on certain brands and such before you buy anything.

It would also help to say what your goals are as far as sound quality, SPL, etc.

Have you bought speakers or anything else like that yet?

could get two 12 inch audioque hdc312's for under 6 would be an awesome setup

1. we need to know how much power you have or want?

2. Tottal outside dimensions for enclosure size?

3. you want SPL SQ or SQL?

for 600 you could get all kinds of AQ goodies or Mach 5.

I'm not familiar with Eclpise subs, so I can't answer on that.

But, if you could tell us what you already have, that would be good. Do you already have a sub amp?

i would say get 2-3 pioneer premeirs, you can get 2 for like 300 bux, great subs, hit hard, then you have extra money for a bettter HU or box

Well the concrete question is for example,

what will hit harder asn sound better? RockfordF 1x T212 or 2x T112; 1x JL 12w7 or 2x 12w6

Actually i have 2 mtx 10" old subwoofer (don't know model) with a HiFonics Brutus 1500

i think.. if i had those choices i would go with the W7, tho, they are expensive and for that price u could get multiple subs that will have higher dbs
