So ladies the time has finally come for me to begin my installation, after a delay of about 2 years.

the car:



And a list of what's going in it:

Illusion Audio CH-1 Horns powered by Orion 2002

XXX 7" mids, sealed pods, powered by Orion 4002

12" Mag (new one) with Orion 1200D. Probably ported around 30hz

Secondskin damplifier and firewall (i live in FL so hopefully this'll kill 2 birds with one stone)

Knu Kolossus power all around.

Tara labs RCA's and speaker wiring all around.

Gonna start off by putting some damplifier in the doors, hopefully tonight if I get a chance. The only thing I dont have is all the sound deadening (the rest is on its way), or the rca's/speaker wire. Looks like its gonna be a good system, but whats the purpose of deadening the firewall? Dont live in FL so i have no idea.

Its the name of the product Im using lol, helps lower the internal heat of the car, should come in handy once summer rolls around.

So I got some deadener on the door tonight, figured I'll wait till I install the speakers to do the rest. Bad thing though I may have covered a hole I need with the damplifier, cause the ****ing door panel wont go back on right now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. Was gonna do the other door a little bit but I dont wanna get too pissed and break something...you think theyd make it a little easier to do something as simple as taking off a ****ing door panel.

And Im running an Eclipse 8455 headunit.

Ah ok I just checked their website and there is a newer one lol. I meant the 05-07 model with the regular 12-spoke basket.

Well not much going on, gonna start the trunk tomorrow, just a quick pic I took in the beginning of the door deadening application:



Also picked up this new grille, some people probably wont like it but I think it looks soo much better than the stock POS, and it was a hell of a lot cheaper than the grille delete kit.
