That adapter is too cool.
Or use a 6.5" - 1/2" to 3/4" spacer to allow a 6.5" to be mounted in the 5.25" space. If it is a front mount, these will work for 6.5" drivers.
Absolutely. I had a pair that I wanted to update the cap to a 1% MPP cap and there is access to the leads and separate terminals on the rear to de-solder the leads to/from the tweeter/included cap, easy peasy. That adapter is too cool.
I'd like to use an external DSP cross-over rather than the speakers' internal passive cross-overs.
Can the CDT's be bypassed easily ? If not, any other co-axials I can use with an external cross-over ?
TIA,
