    supporting a vfl 200.1 @ .5 ohm?

If you haven't yet do a big three with 1/0 or bigger, if you have then consider running another run or upgrade to 2/0 awg. IF you haven't yet run 1 run of 1/0 awg to the rear battery power and ground. IF you have then run another run both power and ground. With that said if you have done...

    Excessive Amperage

I hate to product bash and I personally find it bad form to hear others product bash. I have known many people that have purchased EA alts and to be honest it is about 50/50 with those that are happy and those that are not. I don't really put down Nate because I don't have the ability to build...

    Excessive Amperage

Along the same lines, I am looking to get an Irragi alt for my 91 Cherokee. What is the best way to get ahold of him? Thanks

    Voltage problem help

I would have to say there is a discrepancy in the truck's gauge. I would also suggest testing it with a true RMS voltage meter, this will give you exactly what the voltage is. What accessories do you have running off the truck's electrical system? If you have multiple amps and you have a...

    batt. question

No you don't have to recharge them separately, they work similar to a regular battery in that they charge off the alternator. However a deep cycle battery can be discharged and recharged more frequently without killing the battery. Regular batteries have a problem with sudden and frequent...

    wiring questions!

Use the ring terminals for the power at the battery and the fuse, or the ground. The spade terminals are usually for the amplifier connections. Yes you can just wrap the wire around the terminal on the amp for the speakers but I don't recommend it. Go to wal-mart or circuit city or anywhere...

is my batt voltage low? how do i get more out of it?

If you have a second battery and you have the big 3 and a H/O alt that kicks 240 amps then I would say that there is another issue. What is your Voltage across both the batteries with the stereo off and the car running. If they are just over 13 or less then you are not having voltage dip and...

    double check for me

I would run 2 runs of rca's for the monos not a 4 channel Rca set up, or jump the RCA's from one amp to the other with a 1 ft RCA. Those are designed for a 4 channel amp not 2 mono amps

    Fusing help

between front batt and the back batts you need a 300 amp ANL fuse and from the last batt in the back to the amps you do the same thing

    Fusing help

I would fuse after each battery setup. The one under the hood and the one(s) in the trunk. This way you are safe and covered reguardless.

    Fuse size for big 3?

I don't put a fuse in on the big 3 unless there was a fuse in the factory wiring. That is when I upgrade from the factory size to 1/0 or bigger I won't put in a fuse if the factory wiring did not have it. I would however plan on putting the fuse in closest to the battery if you are going to do...

    Another Help Question

take out the fuse in your power wire(s). Connect the power wire to the battery then to the amp. Connect the ground to the battery then to the amp. Run the remote from the HU to the amp. Connect the amp to the subs. then install the fuse in your power wire(s).

    noob needs

you need to get 1/0 awg for your Sub amps and at least 4 awg for your components. I would go with KnuKonceptz for your RCA's and terminals. You will need to go with 1/0 awg for the big three. and I aways use at least 12 awg for speaker wire.

    Wire Guage for Amp.

The MA amps tend to be a little overrated but not by much. I would expect that you will get at least 1000 Wrms out of your amp. I don't see a problem with running that amp on 4 awg for only a 10 ft run. You should not burn the wire or pop fuses providing you supply the right size fuse. Make...

    Remote wire below 10V

I would. I don't like to product bash but the Jenson brand is just not really up to par with many other brands that are in the same price range. I would do what you can to convince him to upgrade to another brand but if you can't I would just run a relay to the amps.
