I like the Type X Tweeters. Very similar to a Vifa Xt19 but w/ a neo magnet.

It's really not a bad install. You just have to have the parts before you start.

If you have space, I prefer 2 channel amps. That being said I have two 4 channel amps installed in my car. I don't have much experience with current $150 amps. When I was buying $150 amps, the internet didn't exist yet.

The factory deck is probably overemphasizing the treble to make up for poor factory tweeters crossed high.
