Doing a small car audio mock up for my computer sound setup/desktop stereo. The 3 inch sub will be in .04 cubes tuned to 50 HZ with a small 2.1 amplifier inside the enclosure. The little 1 inch full range speakers will be in small pods. Will probably just do something cheap and Velcro them to the top of my computer screen. No real plan here other than the sub enclosure specs. Will just drink beer and wing this one as I go over the weekend.

Crazy thing is it's ported, so he has a 3ft long port and gross enclosure space of 2cuft.

It’s 3.5 X .25 port and 21 inches long. I have a passive radiator also I could use but it would look so boring

total inside is 168 sq inches after displacements. Around .1 cubic feet. 8.5 wide x 4 inches high x 6.5 deep for the sub enclosure.

Double baffled. Otherwise this 3 inch monster would just totally explode this box.

What's the gross volume of that box? It would be an interesting test to just buy a cheap 8" woofer, build another box that volume sealed and compare side by side.

It’s only .1 cubes gross. No way any 8 could fit in an 8x6x3.5 cube.

Maybe a shallow mount 6,5 in a different configured enclosure could do .1. Not sure
