Do you think that’s enough airspace for those 10’s? Website recommends 1.5-1.75 per sub but as discussed, not sure how accurate their specs are.

1.1 cubes is tight. I looked at the SA10's and they only call for one cube ported per sub. My box builder says that the 10's will work in the box that I already have. 1,200 ounces of motor force and a 5K amp seem like a lot for a ¾" MDF box. The subs alone weigh 185 pounds.

the motor weight on the HD’s isn’t the ferrite weight but is the total weight of the ferrites along with the bottom and top plates. The suspension on those subs is on the stiff side and they will need some airspace or the low end and output is gonna be absolutely terrible.

I guess you could try it and then build a new box if you’re not satisfied. I like the SA idea since they require a smaller box.

There is two versions of the SA10. One is 750 rms and one is 900 rms. I was really thinking of just running 4 of these on a 5K. I like my VFL 8's a lot. Why wouldn't I just go with the 10's?
