Need sub help

I changed batteries (4) in my semi tractor. Now I have no control of the sub. It works and the deck controls go from off to +15 but the base doesn't change. Any thoughts?

Check the RCAs, they may have come off. Also check the amp settings. I have seen a few accidentally switched to high pass.

I'm too much of a novice. RCAs on the back of the deck?

I feel there is more to the story than just changing the batteries. Did you remove RCA cables? Did you move the head unit? Did you move the amplifiers? Try your fader... does the bass get less going front to rear or rear to front or left to right? If there is any change in the subs... check where your RCA's are connected.

Yes the base is less if I use fader to only the front speakers

I never changed anything. I believe there is a RCA connecter under the front carpet.

If you have RCA that are just for the sub then they may have been disconnected and reconnected to the rear channels.

I completly forgot about settings going back to zero when disconnecting battery.

On your radio settings, check for "Sub" output. If you have one, turn it on. If Sub setting has a volume, turn it up.
