Subwoofer Recommendation

I take my bass up to a soft clip on every demo that I give. I had to replace my back window and the new glass flexes like crazy. My thinks that is how I lost 1 db on the meter. 🤷‍♂️
I sealed my back area off with Foam insulation and 2x4s and 3/4" plywood so far with 3 layers of 80 mill. Closed that up. Ive never Metered. Ive had a couple cheap meters that went up to 140 and went into error every time is about all Ive done

Not at all. Just enjoying the Conversation from one Bass Head to another at the Music Liking Freq. that most do not get to experience

I'm probably tuned a little too high to really compete. It get's windy for 4 - 8's. I've competed three times. Two firsts and one second. I'm usually the only one with 8's and I usually meter lower than all of the big systems. They don't believe that I peak @ 31 hz. until I run a sweep.

What setup, vehicle, and power?

@audiobaun, I meant meter at a lower frequency. The XFL's are the new VFL's, right?

Didnt mean to Blow your Thread up OP. My Apologies. Ill keep in on Subject man. XFLs are worth every penny. Cant go wrong with either brand of sub mentioned. Just need that tuned Enclosure built properly to make it all happen and some decent power. Though Space needed and Location is key as well as to port location also. Several factors come into play.

Guys I need help, lol. I am upgrading from my AB xd10. I have a sundown sfb 600 amp which will run up to 1000w dynamic. I am looking at the AB xfl, AB Hawk and the Sundown Sa Classic. All subs are 2ohm dvc subs. I have a 1.25cf ported enclosure tuned to 38hz. Which one would you guys go with? Not looking for a pissing contest or versus here, just what you have ran and why you like it. If my amp will not support these subs adequately please advise on that as well. I am looking for a good daily that hits hard, thanks in advance.

Please look at the VFL 10's. They are near impossible to beat for the price. I heard one in a Honda CRV and it was doin work.
