The more important question is, who is going to be taking it on and which direction are they going to take that brand? Sadly I bet the ledgers show that the cheap shit product lines probably make a lot more money than the nice stuff that put them on the map in the first place.

I'm guessing that the XFL line of subs are a big money maker for them. The VFL line of amps and subs are great products. I have some friends who want some VFL8's but can't find them anywhere. The Xmaxx line and Godfather line would probably be the first to go IMO. The HD line of subs are solid and well worth the money. The hybrid amps aren't very good at all from what I've seen and heard.
If it's true I'm not too surprised. Ever since they got rid of brick and mortar only (I believe it was 2017 or 18) they've kind of turned into s***
Their VFL amps are now designed in Korea but made in China and use the fake "max power ratings" (over half of the VFL line doesn't even publish RMS ratings in the manual or online which is a freaking joke).
There are new series such as the hawk and elite are cheaply made clones of the XFL and HD series. A lot of their online only amps such as the phantom, HD, and GT use fake Max power ratings and cheap boards.
New owner is going to turn it into Orion or DB drive (push the cheapest made highest margin products they can get away with).
